Streszczenie
Przemiany demograficzne w województwie bialskopodlaskim w latach 1975-1998
Województwo bialskopodlaskie zostało powołane do życia w wyniku reformy administracji terenowej przeprowadzonej w 1975 r. i funkcjonowało do kolejnej zmian ustroju terytorialnego Polski, do końca 1998 r. W tym okresie doszło do istotnych zmian ustroju politycznym kraju, gospodarki oraz w życiu społecznym. Zmiany te miały wpływ na sytuację demograficzną woj. bialskopodlaskiego. Niniejszy artykuł prezentuje przemiany ludnościowe, które zaszły na obszarze województwa bialskopodlaskiego w całym okresie jego istnienia m.in.: ruch naturalny, migracje, zawieranie związków małżeńskich, proces defeminizacji.
Summary
The demographic changes in Biała Podlaska Province in the years 1975-1998
The Biała Podlaska Province had been brought into being as a result of the reform of local administration conducted in 1975, and it functioned until another reform of territorial division was introduced, that is till the end of 1998. In this period, many significant changes were brought about, and these involved the political system of the state, the economy, and social life. These changes had an influence on the demographic situation of the Biała Podlaska Province. This article presents the population changes in the period of its existence, i.a. population dynamics, migrations, marriages, and the process of defeminisation.
